Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated team player to join our U.S. office as an Eyewear Repair Technician. You’ll evaluate, repair and refurbish eyewear with care and attention to detail. Prior experience is preferred but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
· Eyeglass repair- includes detailed and careful work with small optical parts and delicate materials.
· Inspect and evaluate all repairs and returns that are received.
· Receive and document merchandise for delivery, return, or repair.
· Maintain regular shipping and receiving logs, keeping track of all orders shipped and received.
· Pack and ship repairs and orders out to customers, ensuring that all the merchandise is handled with
care, and safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
· Responsible for the lab and warehouse area, making sure it is clean, organized, and stocked at all
times.
· Follow-up on customer requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
· Daily responsibilities also include shipping and other office related duties as needed.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
· Optical lens/repair experience preferred but not required. Will train!
· Excellent dexterity and repair or crafts skills preferred.
· Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
· Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Personable and positive attitude.
· Basic computer skills.
· Experience in customer service and/or shipping, preferably for a luxury brand a plus.
· Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently.
· Must be able to lift and move heavy items.
