Job Title: Janitor – Industrial Manufacturing
Location: Dayton, OH (accessible via bus line)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay: $18/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our industrial manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will perform general janitorial duties while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Experience with cleaning oil spills and industrial fluids is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
Clean and maintain restrooms, break areas, and common spaces.
Safely clean up oil spills, grease, and other industrial fluids.
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working condition.
Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for industrial cleaning agents and fluids.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
Qualifications:
Previous janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures for industrial fluids, oils, and general workplace hazards.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and fluids.
