Pharmacy Assistant
LOCATION
Fort Worth, TX | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18.50/hour
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday rotation from 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
• First-week training: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
ROLE IMPACT
Support pharmacy fulfillment operations by accurately packing and preparing medications and supplies for shipment. This role helps ensure orders are complete, secure, and ready for timely delivery while maintaining an organized and compliant pharmacy work environment.
KEY DUTIES
• Prepare medications, supplies, and patient information for shipment while following required packaging, sterility, stability, and quality procedures.
• Review shipping manifests, verify delivery details, reconcile packing slips and carrier invoices, and escalate order or shipping issues to the Pharmacy team.
• Restock medications and shipping supplies, rotate ice packs and coolers, and maintain organized storage and packing areas.
• Reset and clean the shipping room and pharmacy work areas daily, including disinfecting countertops, vacuuming, and handling trash and cardboard.
• Secure pharmacy, storage, study drug, and packing areas at the end of the business day.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent and experience with shipping, packing, or dock work.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite five days per week, including occasional Saturday rotations.
• Ability to stand and perform physical work for 8+ hours per day and lift, move, and manipulate boxes and packages weighing approximately 25 pounds.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Onsite pharmacy fulfillment, packing, shipping, and dock environment.
• Ability to work on your feet for approximately 95% of the workday.
• Regular handling and movement of boxes and packages weighing approximately 25 pounds.
• Basic computer use, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Mail service or specialty pharmacy dispensing experience.
• Inventory management experience.
• Strong time management, organization, teamwork, and communication skills.
