As a Phlebotomy Technician, you'll have direct patient interaction while performing an essential part of the diagnostic process.

You'll collect specimens safely and accurately while providing a positive experience for patients of all ages.

What You'll Do

• Collect blood and other specimens according to established procedures.
• Verify patient identification and specimen information.
• Prepare patients for specimen collection.
• Use appropriate collection techniques to ensure specimen quality.
• Label and transport specimens accurately.
• Enter and maintain accurate information in the laboratory system.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions appropriately.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and dignity.
• Follow infection prevention and safety standards.
• Maintain supplies and an organized work area.
• Communicate specimen concerns or collection issues to the appropriate team member.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy training/certification preferred or required according to position requirements.
• Previous healthcare or patient-service experience preferred.
• Comfortable interacting with patients who may be anxious or uncomfortable.

Pay is based on experience.
